Since 1987, my passion has been attending Renaissance Festivals. I've attended several, including those in Pittsburgh, PA, Mount Hope, PA, Virginia, Sterling, NY and even Colorado, but "home" will always be Maryland. For nine weekends a year, I am myself - a flirt who tends to imbibe a bit too much cider (out of my Dragon and Unicorn leather mug sold to me by the infamous "Erik the Gypsy") and sing very badly to bawdy tavern songs in a very bad british accent.
