Meet My F[r]iends
They say that you can tell a lot about someone by the company they keep. Well, okay, so maybe there are certain exceptions to this rule...judge for yourself, for these people are my friends and companions in life (not to mention, they didn't yell too much about being added to my little list...)
Dawntreader (Judy Streeb) - the woman of my dreams who has taken hold of my heart and refuses to give up that grip. You are in my dreams each night, my love. You've touched my heart and my soul in ways I could never have imagined, and someday, with your blessing, I will return the kindess and love you've shown me. You are my light, my life and my love. "I love ya. Always 'ave. I wonta marry you."
Aurora (Jennifer Spivey) - a new-found friend whose company I enjoy greatly. Be it discussing movies and music from the 80's to comparing notes on literature, she is always ready to make me laugh. "There are screws falling out all over...the world is an imperfect place."
Bean (Kim Corvelli) - alas, the one who has finally stolen the heart of my friend, the knight. Best of luck, sweetie...he's got the heart of a lion and the head of a bull. "Oh my God, you ARE me..."
The Bronx Elf (Avril Korman) - this girl's got more curves and blades than Zena, so guys watch your hearts and bodies...she'll break them both if you even THINK of playing with her...and she's got one hell of a webpage! "Where can I get a Homepage like that?"
Columbina (Michele Schultz) - a fellow faire addict and someone who can manage to cause just about anyone's smile to broaden and any man's legs to weaken. Two words: ear trick (and you'll have to ask her about that...)
Dragotha (Tim O'Connor) - a kindred soul, in so much as he stole my old homepage code! [grin]
Dragon (Eric Liang) - my net.brother, who even I couldn't hold a candle to in the game of flirting. How many was that that night? 12? 13? I don't have that many fingers...GooniePuke?
Emmy (Emily Gleason) - the raven-haired wild woman of Fest who has done so much for me that I could never repay her kindness. "We laughed so hard we couldn't walk!"
Eorsoblu (Cheryl Fischer) - the closest I have to a little sister and a terrific friend who I have come to rely on for so long now. [insert giggles and laughter here]
Friday (Jan Bednarczuk) - Oh, the trouble the two of us have caused! We both share a perverse interest in Donatien Alphonse Francois Sade. One phrase fits here: "Spank me, sexy Jesus!"
Flashback (Geoff Rowland) - or Banshee or whatever ya wanna call this guy, he's a musical genius who better not forget the little people when he gets big. "Pass da Boone's, Guff!"
The "Kid" (Chuck Doty) - this is the guy who was for some part responsible for me putting up the "fantasy"...he helped me to learn how to code, and showed me how to get it up and running. "You know, I though you'd be taller..."
Legend (Corey Littlefield) - what could I say about her that would do her justice? I've seen her drunk, seen her sober, seen her angry, and seen her happy. I prefer drunk. "What if Whitey was one of us..."
Locutus (Kevin Kitts) - the mono-browed messenger of insanity who has been around for far too long. He IS Mr. BattleBlech... "Yub Yub Yub"
Madrak (Tom Harrison) - One of the ancients in the great state of MD. He's been around just about as long as I am. "Madrak spelled backwards is GOD!"
Maia (Anna Whiddon) - I've never met anyone who needed the embrace of the night as much as myself - until now. Gentlemen, guard your hearts well, or she might own them. Sacriledge was truely written for you...
Nightwolf (Dan Mauldin) - what would I have done if this guy didn't introduce me to much of the music I listen to now? He's off in Texas for the moment, living on army pay and dying to get back to us. The Bitchin' Camaro lives on...
Pagan Mistress (Laura Sanda) - how could I forget someone as unique as her? My best female friend, companion in the darkness of life and lover of the crimson red. Thank you for your advice, your love, your compassion and showing me your world. "As you wish..."
Parrish (Jen Hall) - a friend from a very long time ago, who once shared my outlook on life and reality. She's been there to help me out and I value her opinions and ideas. "Denny's?"
Raedraele (Persephone Thompson) - a newcomer to my little circle, and as of right now, I don't know enough to talk about her. More will develop, I'm sure... "Nice kilt...ahem..."
Salsa (Stephanie Peterson) - her friendship is as hot and spicy as anything south of the border. "I'm NOT durkn!"
Sir Lancelot (Darrin Snyder) - that knight in shining armor who can capture a woman's heart at 30 paces and is the best friend this dragon could ever wish for. There are too many things we have gone through to even think up a simple quote, so I'll leave it at this: Thank you for all the good times we've lived to tell about all these long years...I am proud to be your friend.
SnowWhite (Rebecca Klein) - Don't let the name fool you, she's broken the hearts of many a Prince Charming. Warning: Do not not touch her computer! "Go away! For chrissakes, get in here..."
Spellbinder - one of my oldest friends who seemed to have dropped off the face of the earth - that is until she dropped me some email a few hours ago. [grin] Missed ya sweets!
Spooky (Andrea Pappas) - the blonde bombshell who has gone down in infamy as the one who "went down on J.C."
Tansil (Melissa Hammon) - the red-hair valkyre who along with Emmy make up my infamous and beloved backup-singers. Keiffers loves ya, Lissa... Viva la Fest!
Tiger (Sonja Hannahan) - this is one chick I don't like to mess with. She eats egos for lunch and goes back for seconds. purrrrr....
Tristan (Jenny Woo) - a great friend who's interest in Ho-Ho's is ahem....rather odd. "MD is CURSED I tell ya!"
Wildstar (Randy Ransom) - the maniac who has helped me through ever so much in life, introducing me to new music, new ideas, and new perspectives of myself. "Blah...this sucks..."
